How to support me

a. Notice your judgments or projections and just… don’t. Allow yourself to connect with me, human to human. Not as a cautionary tale or myth, but as someone who’s lived fully and is navigating this with strength, clarity, and grace.

b. Buy my work, and tell your friends to. I have several ways to work with me, from self-paced to 1:1. Share my posts that you like so that more people find my work.

c. Send me a note about how my work has impacted you. Share with your full chest, not secretly: tell me I can share your name, photo, words, in my promotions so that people know you’re publicly vouching for me. I do this for others, but my clients have been on the shyer side, so I haven’t asked as much. I’ve been sent my own posts with the note “loved this” instead of a simple “like” on a post — as if supporting me publicly was “too far.”

My hope in sharing this is that the ones with strong character, integrity, and compassion stay— and the ones who needed me to be perfect, pedestalized, aspirational, in order to respect me, just see themselves out and go spend time with someone with shinier externals who couldn’t handle a day of my life. Surface-level was never for me.

FAQ

1. What about your work?

My brain is the same brain it was before. I still see the blind spots and what can be faster. Energy work is channeled from source energy, so it’s not my energy; it has nothing to do with my energy, so that’s the same. What I’ve created inside of QR, and what I continue to create, is also channeled for the most part, so that’s not affected either, except I might make new experiences or playbooks for how I’ve been handling the “unthinkable” with grace and being so chill — not from bypassing or repressing but because I’m able to be so present.

2. I feel bad bringing my small problems to you.

If we’re in a 1:1, bring it! You’re actively supporting my work, which means a lot to me, and focusing on you is a good distraction for me for whatever physical discomfort I’m experiencing. There is no too small. If we’re in a 1:1, I want to hear about your chipped nail polish and how that ruined your whole day. There’s also no too big. I have an extraordinary capacity for other people’s stuff. I keep it separate from mine.

3. Can I give you advice?

If you’re giving me a list of chores to do or things to buy or “chin up” platitudes, no. If you want to give me gifts or take something off my plate, I am open to receiving that.

4. I want to say something, but I don’t know what to say.

I’ll paste in some of the best responses I got in a later post. For now, this is a pretty good script, can’t miss here: “I’m here. I’m not going anywhere. I want to support your work. As much or as little as you want to share, know that I’m with you.”

P.S. I’m gonna share a lot. It’s gonna be raw, honest, and freak most people out. To silent hate-watchers: I encourage you to get a hobby; there are loads of good ways to spend your energy. To everyone else, if you’re reading, hit “like” somewhere, on this blog or social media. Let me know you’re here. Let me know you’re a witness.
